非己所為

Hello, no the blog has not been hijacked.  In my other life I work with a mandarin chinese teacher on building her online coursework.  I came across this saying and it spoke to me about God.

非己所為

In pinyin (chinese phonetic language) it is “Fēi jǐ suǒwéi.” It means “as if not done by oneself.”  It refers to the moment we often refer to as being in the zone.  The world moves a bit more manageably. We connect with our inner gifts and the outside world at the same time.  We are as close to the human God designed us to be as we have ever been.

That feeling, 非己所為, is our way of knowing that at least for a moment we have found peace and harmony with Him. That we are in fact not alone in this and rather imbued by a holy spirit to be the embodiment of a combination of self and something more, comes across in this chinese saying.

Now I need to work on my pronunciation.
